Try Scribe in your browser
Declare a template on the left and run actions against it on the right. The editors complete Scribe's declarators and your own fields, and they flag mistakes as you type. Everything runs in your browser on Scribe's real template compiler and field accessors. Nothing is saved.

What this playground runs
The template compiler, field validation and every accessor method come from the same Scribe source these docs are generated from. The declarators available here are Int, Number, Big, String, Enum, Flags, Dynamic, Derived, Optional, ArrayOf, SetOf, MapOf and DictOf, plus the ServerOnly, Shared and Session wrappers and Scribe.Short. Scribe.Timed needs the server scheduler and the Roblox datatype declarators need the engine, so both stay in Studio.
The editors check syntax with the real Luau compiler, compile your template to list its fields, and flag unknown field names, methods that do not fit a field, writes to derived fields, and literal values of the wrong type. That covers the mistakes Scribe would refuse at runtime. It is not Luau's static type checker, so type annotations and inferred types are not verified here.
Each run creates fresh data from the template's defaults and exposes it as data, the same accessor tree your server receives after waiting for a player's data. The runtime is served with this site, and running an example never contacts another service.
What to check in Studio
DataStores, player sessions, replication, purchases, timers and other Roblox services are unavailable here. Use the testing guide for those. Browser execution speed also says nothing about Scribe's performance in Roblox.
Continue in your game
Copy the template into your shared data module and use the actions after Data.WaitForData(player) succeeds. Follow Getting Started for the complete folder layout and loading code, or Read and write values for more field operations. The Copy link button captures the current template, actions and bounds policy, so an example is easy to hand to a teammate.
